LOVELY TILDA............

I have another love.....she's called Tilda  ;)

I never get bored playing with these stamps, they just ask for lot's of flowers and ribbons definitely a girly card.  I thought I would come up with another design for a mothers day card, and she is just beautiful, what do you think??

As much as it kills me I didn't put many flowers onto the card as I was thinking about postage, and people are put of buying things that require a box because it means extra postage, so this just fits inside a 6x6 envelope when closed.

Gorgeous Tilda is stamped and coloured with Promarkers, background papers are embossed and distressed with Tim Holtz inks.  The image is mounted onto craft card (another new love).  Fished with glitter and ribbon.

COOL DUDE.........

Birthday card for a friends boy.....

You have to love how much notice children give you that it's someones birthday lol this was made about 12.00 at night with very bleary eyes for a birthday the next day.....given a moments notice ;)).  So a quick dash to see what Digi images I have....no idea who this is by ..sorry (note to self, sort images out on files) !!  He's a fantastic image I love him, reminds me a bit of a chipmunk!!  Chipmunk on a skateboard, now that's something you don't see everyday....  ;D

He's been coloured with Alcohol markers, backing papers are from stash, finished with string.  The personalisation was cut on my Cricut.....not bad considering it was made late at night, I was actually very happy with it!!!

CORAL ANNIVERSARY CARD

Good morning everyone......actually it's afternoon now.  Today's make is a Coral Anniversary card which was commissioned.....you don't hear of Coral Anniversary very often.

The sun is shining here, so it was wonderful to work with this beautiful colour, really please with how it's turned out, it has a personal poem inside which was very beautiful....hope she's pleased with it x

The card is 8X8 which I don't do very often as it uses so much card for the card and box.  It's layered in coral and white, and the top coral layer is embossed, finished with flowers and tag made from  spellbinders dies and foliage embellishments made from TATTERED LACE die

SOMETHING A BIT DIFFERENT.........

For the teenagers and Dudes out there, love making cards like these, taking a blank image and making it come alive...

The VW camper is from the JUST INKLINED CD which has some fantastically funny images on it, it;s one i turn to all the time when looking for something different.  The purple Gothic images I have had for such a long time I have no idea who they are from, but it's a whole sheet of images ideal for teenagers, she is coloured and glittered, finished with ribbon, fuzzy wool and die cut flowers.

BUTTER WOULDN'T MELT........

How adorable is she......I think she has a naughty but lovable side to her  ;) I do find Decoupage time consuming but the result is always worth it

Made from the new Angelica and Adam CD from CRAFTERS COMPANION  backing papers from the original Angelica and Friends CD, white background made using Spellbinders Die

MY NEW LOVE.....

My new love......Angelica and Adam.  I'm so please  CRAFTERS COMPANION  have come up with these adorable images in the new range, it;s something I was missing in my crafty collection....I neeeeeeded this CD  ;)

Images have been printed from the CD along with the backing papers...........I'm in love..

WHEN i GROW UP I WANT TO BE A BALLERINA

How beautiful is she...........

I love colouring in, can sit for hours just colouring.  It takes me back to being a little girl sitting and colouring.......... did I say I love colouring

Image is stamped and coloured with Pro markers.....can't wait for my birthday so I can play with the new Spectrum Noir pencils that Hubby has got me for my birthday!! sorry, got side tracked there lol
Backing papers are from stash, finished with handmade flowers

TIME TO FLY

TIME TO FLY......

I have said before that I love getting inky, and I watch Barbara Gray with mouth open wide sometimes....she is such a clever lady, but i love how she breaks things down step by step

This is my very humble piece of artwork made using BARBARA GRAY Stamps

The background is distressed and inked, image is stamped and coloured using Pro Markers

WHO DOESN'T LOVE A BUTTERFLY

I LOVE MESSING ABOUT WITH INKS

The stamps are from the SHEENA DOUGLAS

I love taking a piece of blank white card and turning it into something completely different, my craft room looks like a complete disaster sometimes with ink pads and stamps everywhere  :) am I the only one who ends up working in a 3 inch space?!?!  I'm thinking not lol....

The background is stamped with distress inks, then embossed with a Sheena embossing folder, butterfly is also stamped with distress inks.  Sentiment is stamped and heat embossed, finished with distress inks.

MOTHERS DAY CARDS

Slowly trying to get cards up together for Mothers day  to show people samples of cards that can be done, I find it's easier than trying to second guess peoples tastes....it gives you something to go by......

SHABBY CHIC

I love this, but I know Shabby chic isn't to every ones taste, the background is embossed  and distressed with inks, image is stamped and embossed (sorry can't remember who the stamp is by, I've had it so long and the packaging is now lost) the card is finished with flowers made from SPELLBINDERS dies and the embellishments are from the  TATTERED LACE range

KATY SUE

I love this card, it's made from the KATY SUE Fabulous Fashion CD, I love the candy colours.  The decoupaged image and backing papers are all from the CD

A LITTLE BIT OF FROU FROU

I love these images on the CRAFTERS COMPANION FROU FROU CD, they are all so feminine and girly.  The card is made from papers from the CD, matt and layered, the image is also from the CD.......all finished off with a pink ribbon...of course  ;)

MAKEY BAKEY

Who wouldn't love to receive a boxed card with an adorable Makey Bakey image on it from CRAFTERS COMPANION
This image was part of a kit, image and backing papers from kit, finished with handmade flowers and ribbon.

A Little Bit of Lovin'

VALENTINES DAY CARD

It's probably a little late in the day to be posting this seeing as Valentines day is in the distant past, but I'm slowly trying to get my blog up together again.  A friend asked if I would could make a Valentines card for her significant other  ;) and of course he's male.......and we all know how difficult them men are out there to make cards for....never mind having to make one for someone Else's other half!  Any ho, I found this adorable stamp from crafters companion from their popcorn range.....

I have to say I was very pleased with the outcome of the card, I think using craft card and taffeta stops it looking to fluffy...and we know men don't like fluffy!!

Card was made using crafters companion stamp from the Popcorn range, the white card was embossed and layered with papers from stash, the heart has been cut out on my cricut machine.......hope you like!

Wee bit excited.........

Slightly excited about this, am I brave enough to give it a go..............

Little Irish Dancer

Little Irish Dancer

Well it's cold and wet outside and I can't believe we are nearly at the end of February already.....into march!!  So to cheer me up today and in homage of the forthcoming St Patricks day celebrations I present to you ................

Little Irish Dancer.......

How adorable is she, she's a mo manning digital stamp and she's been waiting to be coloured since last St Patricks day......just didn't quite get around to it, I'm a bit more organised this year ;)
The background papers are from The Crafters Companion Angelica and Friends CD (another favourite) and she is coloured using pro markers.

Hope you like!!

Time to start blogging again..............i've been away far too long and the crafting bug is still with me.  I will ease myself in gently over the next few days just to get the hang of it again ;).  I've been a busy bee trying to make and sell my cards, and here is one lovely delight that I have come up with made from the fabulous shoes CD from Katy Sue, which I just adore

I am so happy with the finished result, would make a lovely card for a teenage birthday or even mothers day x
